Ann McLeish, a volunteer for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, has received more than $6500 in donations in the last month.

Among them, $200 was collected by Robin Newman during the Spring Festival, $1500 came from Corrigin Rotary Club, and a $5000 donation was handed over from the Narrogin Dependent Persons’ Bus.

Ms Newman raised her $200 by hosting a morning tea during the recent Spring Festival, and the Dependent Persons’ Bus raised their $5000 from wind-up funds.

The Corrigin Rotary Club held a Variety Afternoon in August and president Julian Goldacre presented Ms McLeish with a $1500 cheque.

Ms McLeish has raised more than $150,000 for the RFDS since she started collecting in 2008 through walks to Albany and Perth, shaking tins at major events, and by visiting schools.
