Chris Eales has many years of experience judg­ing dres­sage, in­clud­ing pony club, event­ing and EA at both re­gional and metro venues.

Eales has scribed at high­level com­pe­ti­tions and judged at breed shows, stock horse events and show-horse events.

She is also an ac­cred­ited EA, level 1 gen­eral coach and a level 2 dres­sage spe­cial­ist, coach ed­u­ca­tor, skill spe­cific trainer as­ses­sor, west­ern dres­sage judge and work­ing eq­ui­tation judge.

Eales started rid­ing as a teenager on her par­ents’ farm, rid­ing bor­rowed ponies. She joined the lo­cal pony club and later joined the lo­cal rid­ing club, tak­ing up dres­sage when the cur­rent horse was not in­ter­ested in any­thing else.

Eales has suc­cess­fully rid­den and trained her own horses (a va­ri­ety of types and breeds), from pre­lim to grand prix, been a State dres­sage squad mem­ber, rep­re­sented the State at na­tional com­pe­ti­tions as a team and in­di­vid­ual mem­ber in Mel­bourne and Syd­ney on sev­eral oc­ca­sions.
