Showjumping course design among skills

Narrogin Observer - - News - AMY KIPPIN

Amy Kippin is one of WA’s young aspiring officials in the sport of showjumping.

Kippin is a national level 2 show jumping judge and recently qualified as a national level 1 course designer.

Growing up in Woodanilling in the Great Southern district, Kippin’s passion for showjumping was ignited at Jump Club events at the Katanning Equestrian Association.

Kippin has since relocated to Perth to further pursue her judging opportunities.

She regularly officiates at showjumping events in the Great Southern, South West and Perth metropolitan areas as well as prestigious WA events such as the Perth Royal Show and WA Show Jumping Associations Patrons Cup.

She also brings ingenuity in her course designing through working with some of WA’s top course designers and also visiting international course designers.

Kippin enjoys coming back to the Wheatbelt/Great Southern districts and enjoys seeing riders continue to enjoy and advance their skills in the sport of showjumping, of which the Wagin Gymkhanarama is a great event to encourage this.
