Po­lice seek in­for­ma­tion on house fire

Nar­ro­gin de­tec­tives are still ap­peal­ing to the com­mu­nity for any in­for­ma­tion re­lat­ing to a house fire on Garfield Street last Mon­day.

Po­lice are treat­ing the fire which gut­ted the Nar­ro­gin home as sus­pi­cious.

Nar­ro­gin de­tec­tives are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the fire which caused ex­ten­sive dam­age to the un­oc­cu­pied Garfield Street home.

The fire caused an es­ti­mated $150,000 dam­age.

About 6.45am on Septem­ber 3, fire crew and po­lice were called to the prop­erty.

Nar­ro­gin de­tec­tives are seek­ing the pub­lic’s as­sis­tance and would like to speak to any­one who was in the area around the time of the fire and saw sus­pi­cious ac­tiv­ity, peo­ple or ve­hi­cles.
