Win­mar win goes to wire with Ca­ble

Win­mar has recorded a vic­tory af­ter an ex­tremely close fix­ture against Ca­ble in week four of the Nar­ro­gin Squash Club’s spring tour­na­ment.

Win­mar won 13-12 be­fore vic­tor points were added to the fi­nal team score.

An­drew Pratt first took on Sarah Hen­nessey in the top seeded match of the fix­ture, with Hen­nessey win­ning 3-2 for Ca­ble.

Hen­nessey took the fi­nal match point, af­ter col­lect­ing the most points over­all — 14-17, 15-7, 10-15, 15-12, 9-9.

Arhron Al­lan se­cured Win­mar’s first score sheet win over Brian Lange, 12-15, 15-12, 15-12.

Ca­ble bounced back, how­ever, with Michael Fir­man pro­duc­ing a dom­i­nate dis­play against Caitlin Pratt.

Fir­man won their match in four straight games 15-13, 15-4, 17-14, 15-11.

Over­all points scored had to be split between Win­mar’s Suzie Sat­tler and Ca­ble’s Azhar Awang.

Sat­tler took the match, win­ning 13-15, 15-4, 11-15, 12-6.

Ben Robins se­cured Win­mar’s win over Ca­ble’s Tia Stott; 15-9,15-8, 16-14, 16-14, 13-15.
