( 1) Navigation is centred around the search bar and filters, enabling users to quickly home in on a specific set of requirements.
( 2) As results are filtered down, the map automatically scales to ensure some are visible on screen. If the user doesn’t have location services available, the search box can be used to jump to an address or area.
( 3) Clicking on a marker reveals a small pop-up summary of that volunteering opportunity with the ability to either click for more info, save it to come back to it later, or to filter by any of the criteria listed (I see an opportunity from 3-5pm, I want to find more opportunities that fit this time).
( 4) The opportunity detail page, shown here on mobile, appears when clicking ‘more info’ on the pop-up. It details the opportunity and gives information on the activity, who to contact for more info, in-depth location info (with potential tie-in to services like Citymapper) and an action to opt in.
