Jackson’s site is a clever portfolio that invites users to play. All four of its pages can be accessed by links in the corners (no normal hamburger menu here) and each one has its own gradient and a drawing tool which lets users click and drag to doodle, draw and sketch behind the site’s eye-catching text. Have a look at the names on his CV, too! Impressive.

A delightfully clever detail that ties everything together is that each page has a different drawing tool and brush effect (a paintbrush, a spray can, a pen and a feather).

Jackson discussed the initial concept over a beer with his developer and then continued the discussion over email. Jackson jumped directly into Sketch because he prefers it to starting with sketches. Jackson said he wanted to “make a fun website that would be different from the rest and make people laugh.” We think he’s done just that.
