WHAT IS IT? A fat-burn­ing plan, which prom­ises you’ll lose 3.2kg in seven days. The diet cen­tres on ‘sirt­foods’ that switch on our sir­tuin or ‘skinny’ genes, mim­ick­ing the ef­fects of fast­ing and ex­er­cise. The shop­ping list in­cludes: wal­nuts, straw­ber­ries, cof­fee, cel­ery, ex­tra-vir­gin olive oil, matcha green tea, and choco­late (with at least 85 per cent real co­coa).

THE RULES Phase one lasts for seven days. For days one to three, your en­ergy in­take is re­stricted to a max­i­mum of 1000 calo­ries (4184kj) per day. This con­sists of three sirt­food-rich green juices,

plus one full meal
