WHAT IS IT? A fat-burning plan, which promises you’ll lose 3.2kg in seven days. The diet centres on ‘sirtfoods’ that switch on our sirtuin or ‘skinny’ genes, mimicking the effects of fasting and exercise. The shopping list includes: walnuts, strawberries, coffee, celery, extra-virgin olive oil, matcha green tea, and chocolate (with at least 85 per cent real cocoa).
THE RULES Phase one lasts for seven days. For days one to three, your energy intake is restricted to a maximum of 1000 calories (4184kj) per day. This consists of three sirtfood-rich green juices,
plus one full meal
BREAKFAST Soy yoghurt with mixed berries, chopped walnuts and dark chocolate. LUNCH Wholemeal pitta stuffed with turkey. DINNER Stir-fried prawns with kale and buckwheat noodles.
