THE REAL DEAL
The Charger’s original ‘Certicard’ is included with Rodney and Zeta’s documentation. The Certicard system was used from 1966 through to 1968 for dealer reference with warranty repairs, with the actual card stored in a black plastic sleeve behind the radiator support panel. This is the correct card for this particular car. The top line denotes the car’s vehicle identification number (VIN), while the second line includes the trim code, with ‘P4X’ representing a black interior; paint code, with ‘AA1’ representing silver paint; transmission type, with ‘T3’ representing an A-833 four-speed manual; rear axle code, with ‘SG’ representing a Sure Grip differential; and the scheduled build date, ‘0225’, in this case representing February 25, 1966. The following lines detail owner information, with the original owner’s name and address added after production, on stamped adhesive strips.
