It’s a problem
THE first time I read it in the News Mail I thought it was an oversight.
But then I read it several times more, including today on page 3 (NM, 13/11): “One Nation won’t win enough seats (...) to take government in it’s own right”.
Possessive pronouns don’t take apostrophes, so it should be: “in its own right” (whereas “it’s” means “it is”). — MARC OBROWSKI Bundaberg West
