Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Re­sort

This Gra­ham Pap­worth-de­signed golf course is rated one of the best in Aus­tralia and likes to pose a chal­lenge with 69 bunkers and wa­ter in play on 12 holes. Noosa Golf Club

This thriv­ing so­cial hub on Cooroy Noosa Rd in Te­wantin de­scribes it­self as the only na­ture re­serve with a cham­pi­onship golf course at­tached that will of­fer plenty of chal­lenges and re­cently at­tracted the likes of Ian Baker-Finch. The well-ap­pointed club­house caters for club mem­bers and so­cial vis­i­tors alike. To ar­range a round of golf call the pro shop on 5447 1910.

Noosa Par 3

This 27-hole public golf course of­fers a wide range of play­ing times seven days per week in­clud­ing so­cial golf days in a pic­turesque set­ting. This is con­sid­ered by some to be the best short course in Aus­tralia, with small greens and un­du­lat­ing and wind-ex­posed fair­ways at the Hol­let Rd set­ting in Noosa. Noosa Val­ley Coun­try Club

This spec­tac­u­lar course, de­scribed by Aus­tralian Golf Digest Mag­a­zine as “a golf­ing gem”, is the first golf course in Aus­tralia to be ac­cepted into the ABC’s Open Gar­den Pro­gram. This gem is just off the Eu­mundi Noosa Rd, and while the course does not of­fer com­pe­ti­tion play, con­quer­ing its holes holds its own re­wards. Call the Golf Shop/Res­tau­rant: 5449 1411.

Pere­gian Golf Course

This re­opened Pere­gian Golf Course with a driv­ing range is in the heart of Pere­gian Springs. The course is set amid tree-lined fair­ways with a num­ber of holes fea­tur­ing lakes and wa­ter­ways pro­vid­ing golfers a pleas­ant but test­ing out­look. Lo­cated at Pere­gian Springs Drive, the li­censed club­house is a so­cial draw­card. To book a round call 5471 5400.

Cooroy Golf Club

Nes­tled on the south­ern en­trance to Noosa’s pre­mier hin­ter­land town, this course of­fers a re­laxed feel for a hit of golf to com­plete a hol­i­day ex­pe­ri­ence or so­cial, cor­po­rate or char­ity golf day. The open-plan club­house looks out over the first fair­way and 18th green. This is an ideal place to un­wind. Call 5447 6258.
