■ Pomona - Reserve St (across road from IGA). Open 24 hours.

■ Gympie - Pipe Dreamz Indoor Skatepark, 70 Crescent Rd, Gympie. All weather venue. Open 3-8pm Wednesday to Friday, 9am-8pm Saturday, 9am-3pm Sunday. Closed Monday/Tuesday.

The popular Sunshine Beach skatepark with its bowl, street areas and half pipe has just undergone a major upgrade, which local skaters are loving.

Water babies might be tempted by the cable wake park at Bli Bli where you can try wakeboardi­ng or knee boarding. There’s also a huge Aqua Park for inflatable fun.
