Noosa Life and Style

WHERE TO COOL OFF

From the beach to the river to the pool

-

Noosa Main Beach

IF YOU don’t mind crowds, join the thousands of holidaymakers enjoying a day at the beach alongside Hastings St. Swim between the flags patrolled by members of the Noosa Surf Club, enjoy a walk along the boardwalk or just soak up the sun on the soft Noosa sand.

Sunshine Beach

Be prepared for a walk down the steep steps near the surf club to reach the sand. But once you’re there, it’s magical. A long stretch of east-facing beach and flagged areas patrolled by the Sunshine Beach Surf Club.

Noosa River

The perfect family-friendly destination where the children can splash in the shallows, jump on a paddle board or nauticycle, or play in the sand while parents watch the passing parade of water craft.

Poolside cabanas

The Sofitel has just opened its luxury poolside cabanas for bookings and it’s the ideal location for a stylish, relaxing afternoon. The Cabanas Noosa overlook Hastings St and provide an unparalleled social experience with one of the largest selections of champagne on offer, live music and food designed by celebrity chef Peter Kuruvita.

Noosa Aquatic Centre

For those wanting to avoid sand in their togs, the Noosa Aquatic Centre is in Giraween Crt at Sunshine Beach and has several heated pools, including a 50m, 25m and 17m program pool and toddler pools.
