Col­lege to host busi­ness sun­downer

WAN­NEROO Busi­ness As­so­ci­a­tion will hold a sun­downer at Irene McCor­mack Catholic Col­lege in But­ler on Thursday.

The June 29 net­work­ing event will be hosted by stu­dents and the school’s jazz band will per­form.

Erin Gallen will ex­plain how the school is pre­par­ing the next gen­er­a­tion for work and how busi­nesses can in­volve stu­dents in work place­ments to ex­pand their skills and ex­pe­ri­ence.

Other speak­ers will in­clude Ju­lian Dyer from Burn­ing Fruit, and work­place learn­ing stu­dent Ian Frances, talk­ing about their in­volve­ment in WBA’s work­place learn­ing pro­gram.
