ARIA Award-winning Perth band Birds of Tokyo will rock Wanneroo in November.

The home-grown alternative rockers are headlining this year’s City of Wanneroo Presents Concert at Wanneroo Showground on November 4.

Concertgoers will hear songs from across the band’s 10-year career, including hits like Lanterns and I’d Go With You Anywhere, as well as tracks from their latest album Brace.

Keyboardist Glenn Sarangapany said the show’s set list would be varied.

“Songs right from the start of our career up to the latest stuff,” he said.

“I love the fact that our crowds seem to dig the variety in the show.”

Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts said the annual free concert was always a wonderful event.

“Families can indulge in a range of delicious offerings from Perth’s best mobile food trucks or pack a picnic and enjoy quality entertainment under the stars,” she said.

“Birds of Tokyo are a highly acclaimed band that have seen huge national success; no doubt tickets to the show will be snapped up early, so make sure you register before you miss out.”

The support line-up will be announced later this month, along with a range of food vendors.

Tickets are free but essential and will be available to City of Wanneroo residents on October 2 from 9am at www.wanneroo.wa.gov.au/ concert.
