Rob­bery in­ves­ti­gated

JOON­DALUP de­tec­tives are seek­ing help with their in­ves­ti­ga­tion into a rob­bery at a liquor store on Kings­bridge Boule­vard in But­ler on Au­gust 20.

First Class Con­sta­ble Tony Coates said two men en­tered the store about 1.40pm that Sun­day and re­moved four bot­tles of al­co­hol be­fore walk­ing out of the store with­out pay­ing.

“When the men were ap­proached by a staff mem­ber and asked to re­turn the al­co­hol, they re­sponded with ver­bal threats of vi­o­lence be­fore leav­ing the store,” he said.

Po­lice have re­leased CCTV images of two men they be­lieve may be able to help with the in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

Both men were de­scribed as be­ing 175cm tall, dark-skinned and about 23 years old, with a slim build and black hair.
