Clas­sics day for dress-up

CHIL­DREN’S clas­sics in­spired many cos­tumes at St An­drew’s Catholic Pri­mary School’s Book Week event.

Char­ac­ters roam­ing the Clark­son school grounds on Au­gust 22 in­cluded Anne Shirley from L.M. Mont­gomery’s 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables.

Mis­chievous twins Thing 1 and Thing 2 joined the ti­tle char­ac­ter from Dr Seuss’s 1957 book The Cat in the Hat for the an­nual dress-up event.

This year’s Book Week theme was Es­cape to Ev­ery­where.
