Intersection to open in November

North Coast Times - - NEWS -

WORKS to connect Pectoral Promenade to Marmion Avenue are due to finish in November, three months later than originally planned.

Lendlease WA communities general manager Anthony Rowbottam said civil work for the Alkimos project was forecast to finish next month, with landscaping to follow and the junction to open next month.

“This is slightly later than expected due to a delay in approvals,” he said.

The developer originally expected the works to extend Pectoral and create left-in, left-out turns where it meets Marmion to finish in August, but the layout had changed.

“The intersection includes a left-in, leftout to Marmion Avenue, and now with the added benefit of a break in the median to allow right turns both into and out of Pectoral Promenade,” Mr Rowbottam said.

“This is a great outcome to further ease traffic flow from the project.”

The works are due to be completed in November.
