North Coast Times - - FRONT PAGE -

THE annual Mindarie Festival returns to the marina this month with markets, street food and carnival rides for children.

Marina operations manager David Bornmann said the location was ideal to host community events such as the festival.

“We provide an array of food, beverage, markets and other interesting entertainment for everyone to enjoy,” he said.

The festival on November 19 will include artisan market stalls on the boardwalk, street food stalls and cooking stations.

The free kids’ zone will run from noon to 4pm with jumping castles, an obstacle course, Mermaid Stardust, children’s carnival rides, a balloon twister and bubble zone.

There will be bands performing, including Darren Reid and the Soul City Groove, plus street performers and buskers.
