Train­ing for tran­si­tion

A JOONDALUP train­ing provider is seek­ing young peo­ple and em­ploy­ees to take part in its ‘tran­si­tion to work’ ser­vice as part of a na­tional strat­egy.

Stir­ling Skills Train­ing is a not-for-profit ser­vice provider that helps peo­ple aged 15-21 meet the needs of the em­ployer and are sup­ported to set­tle into em­ploy­ment, in­clud­ing through ap­pren­tice­ships, trainee­ships and in­tern­ships.

The tran­si­tion-to-work ser­vice is part of the Fed­eral Gov­ern­ment’s Youth Em­ploy­ment Strat­egy and at the core of the strat­egy is the Youth Jobs PaTH ini­tia­tive (Pre­pare, Trial, Hire).

Stir­ling Skills Train­ing will hold an event called ‘Sup­port­ing youth through col­lab­o­ra­tion’ for em­ploy­ers at the Growth Box in Malaga on Novem­ber 22, 11.30am-1.30pm.
