Breach­ing con­di­tions costly

MAN could go to jail for breach­ing a sus­pended prison term af­ter he threat­ened his part­ner with a baseball bat while drunk and on drugs in the fam­i­lyfriendly sur­rounds of Guilder­ton Car­a­van Park.

Daniel Tay­lor faced Joon­dalup Mag­is­trates Court on Fri­day and was fined $1000.

He ad­mit­ted to go­ing to his car and retriev­ing a baseball bat in a fit of rage.

“I was un­der the in­flu­ence of drugs and al­co­hol; since then I’ve grown up and try­ing to get straight­ened out,” he told Mag­is­trate Deen Pot­ter.

His ac­tions were con­sid­ered a breach of a con­di­tional sus­pended jail term.

He is due to face the District Court in re­la­tion to the breach on Au­gust 31.
