LOLLIPOP’S Playland and Cafe opened in Butler last week.

Owner Vanessa O’Donnell said the Butler Boulevard centre had been busy since opening on July 17.

“Everyone seems really positive and supportive,” she said.

“What we are trying to create is a bit of a social hub.”

Ms O’Donnell said the centre catered for babies to 11-year-old children and featured a harnessed climbing wall, spinning car ride, threetier play frame and toddler play area.

The mother-of-two said it had four party rooms, as well as a cafe area, and would host parenting talks.

The centre had provided jobs for about 30 casual employees and was open seven days a week from 9am to 6pm.
