A YANCHEP lifestyle village has for sale a limited number of villas, allowing over 55s to enjoy relaxed coastal living.

Priced from $450,000, the Beachside Bethanie homes each feature two double bedrooms plus built-in robes, study, bathroom, powder room, spacious kitchen with high-quality fixtures and finishes, and laundry.

A double garage and reverse-cycle airconditioning are also included, while a 24hour monitored emergency duress system installed in all villas and onsite village manager help provide peace of mind.

Bethanie chief executive Chris How said modern retirement living must offer choice and freedom.

“We want to ensure the residents have the freedom to do as much or as little as they please,” he said.

“One example of this and a real bonus of life at Beachside is the residents’ clubhouse.”

Exclusive to residents, the clubhouse is the social hub of the village, offering lifestyle amenities and activities including a covered heated swimming pool, bowling green, fully equipped gymnasium, crafts room, hair salon, library, dining room and bar, and men’s shed.

Mr How said there were also considerable advantages to living on the coast.

“Just a stone’s throw away, residents can explore magnificent caves, marvel at birdlife or enjoy nature at Yanchep National Park,” he said.

Noel and Glenda Shea moved to the village three years ago and have no intention of leaving.

“Before moving, we searched through all the lifestyle villages from Yanchep to Bunbury for four years before finally making our decision,” Mr Shea said.

“We first liked Bethanie Beachside because there was caravan parking available and we like to travel around, but after living here for about a year, we sold the caravan as living at Bethanie Beachside is a holiday every day. We’ve made many great friends since moving in and enjoy all the social activities on offer. Glenda is involved in arts and crafts with the other ladies and I enjoy the men’s shed.”

Bethanie Beachside at 629 Two Rocks Road is open Fridays, 2.30-3.30pm or by appointment. For details, call 131 151 or visit

Villas offer independence and flexibility of a private home with the advantage of a 24-hour emergency call system.
