Hunt for rob­bery sus­pects

PO­LICE are search­ing for two men who struck a War­wick fast food worker in the face in the early hours of Satur­day morn­ing.

Of­fi­cers were called to the Beach Road premises about 4.40am with re­ports two men had en­tered the store via a side en­trance used by a cleaner.

The rob­bers un­suc­cess­fully tried to open cash reg­is­ters be­fore ac­cost­ing the em­ployee in a back of­fice. They threat­ened the male be­fore leav­ing with stolen cash.

One was de­scribed as olive skinned, about 175cm tall and was wear­ing black cloth­ing and white shoes. The sec­ond man was de­scribed as olive skinned, about 180cm tall with slim build and black cloth­ing.
