VFF calls for ex­ec­u­tive nom­i­na­tions

THE Vic­to­rian Farm­ers Fed­er­a­tion (VFF) is call­ing for nom­i­na­tions for peo­ple in­ter­ested in rep­re­sent­ing the lobby group.

Avail­able po­si­tions in­clude pres­i­dent, vice pres­i­dent, live­stock pres­i­dent and vice, re­gional rep­re­sen­ta­tives around the state, hor­ti­cul­ture ex­ec­u­tive mem­ber, farm busi­ness and re­gional devel­op­ment, work­place re­la­tions, land man­age­ment and ag and vet chem­i­cals com­mit­tee mem­bers and re­gional wa­ter coun­cil com­mit­tee mem­bers.

Nom­i­na­tions close on June 10, with elec­tions tak­ing place dur­ing the VFF con­fer­ence in Mel­bourne on July 21 and 22.

VFF chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Graeme Ford said the op­por­tu­nity is avail­able for agri­cul­ture pro­fes­sion­als to come for­ward and keep the fo­cus on the needs of ru­ral and re­gional com­mu­ni­ties. For more in­for­ma­tion visit www.vff.org.au.
