FOR the first time Honda has developed a unique specification side-by-side destined only for the Australasian market.

The 2017 Pioneer 700 has been carefully designed for the needs of our Aussie farmers.

The Pioneer 700- 2 can be picked up for an MLP of $18,499 and the Pioneer 7004 is available for an MLP of $19,999.

Senior Honda SXS/ ATV engineers conducted extensive research; in conjunction with several farming communities in Australia, to further understand what was needed in the extreme and unique conditions down under.

After several months of development and analysis of farmer feedback, the 2017 ‘Aussie’ Pioneer 700 is now here.

With electric power steering and fully automatic transmission, which now comes with a manual mode that can be activated via a dash-mounted toggle switch, the auto transmission is all-gear so no belts that slip, break or burn out.

Paddle shifters can be used to change gears while in manual mode or to override shift points on the fly while in automatic mode.

The industry’s first QuickFlip seating design is also available in the Pioneer 7004, which allows the two rear seats to fold into the bed so that owners can select between two, three or four-seat configurations.

Driver seatbelt interlock is a new safety feature to make sure drivers wear their seatbelt while operating the machine.

Speed is also limited when the seatbelt is not engaged.

A model truly developed for Down Under, this Pioneer 700 will only be available in Australia and New Zealand.

HOME GROWN: The Pioneer 700 will only be available in Australia and New Zealand.

WHILE quad bikes are largely considered to be the leading cause of on-farm injuries and deaths it was the tractor, which often slips under the farm safety radar, that accounted for more fatalities in 2016.
