Falls Creek

North East Tourist News - - Snow News -

Winter is almost upon us and that means Falls Creek is gearing up for another exciting snow season.

In 2015 there are plenty of reasons to make Falls Creek your mountain - whether out on the slopes, on the trails, in the restaurants or at the lodge.

There is something about Falls that keeps visitors coming back for more, especially those from the North East.

There are unique things you may not know about Falls Creek.

For instance, it is the only place in Australia where you can drive your own snowmobile, ride a snow bike on a ski trail and see a sled dog event under village lights at night.

It’s also the only true ski-in, skiout village in the country.

There is no closer feeling to a romantic European-style resort, the best part is skiing from the slopes right to the door of any property in the village.

Nobody wants the same old and Falls Creek prides itself on bringing new and activities to add to the old classics.

In 2015 the Snowplay Park has had a facelift and will offer more fun than ever (especially with its kid’s snowmobiles) and the snowshoe trails will open a number more routes thanks to the new mountain bike trail network at the resort.

A bit further out, Back-country tours with Steve Lee are set to be a hit once again and Australia’s best cross country network is free as always.

Falls Creek is ready to go in 2015.
