A new perspective on local touring

North East Tourist News - - BRIGHT & DISTRICT -

IF you are looking for a unique way to see the sights that the North East has to offer this summer, Alpine Trike Tours could be the answer you are looking for.

The business was established in October 2014 by Len Kilpatrick, a knowledgeable local who can give you a new perspective on local landmarks.

He operates an Australian made Oz Trike capable of seating three passengers, the vehicle is fully equipped with seatbelts and complies with Australian design regulation.

Mr Kilpatrick says he caters for a wide range of people, from couples to families or small groups of friends, and he and his trike have even transported brides and grooms to their weddings.

Tour itineraries are up to the individual customer, and Mr Kilpatrick said that when riding on the trike, taking in the scenery with the wind in your hair, it is more about the trip than the destination.

He covers a wide area in the North East, including Mt Buffalo, Mt Beauty, Myrtleford, Bright and the Ovens Valley, and tours can be anywhere from a half hour in length to a full day.

Helmets are supplied and jackets can be supplied if the weather calls for it.
