ANYONE looking to sample truly sumptuous food, paired with equally tempting wine, is invited to drop in to Morris Wines during this year’s Tastes of Rutherglen event, taking place on March 12-13.

For this year’s event, Geoffrey Michael has created a truly decadent dessert to tempt those with a sweet tooth.

The dessert combines strawberry cremeux, salted caramel, strawberry and chardonnay jelly, honeycomb, milk chocolate shantilly and topaque gel to create a sweet taste sensation for the tastebuds.

The resulting creation is then paired with Morris Wines’ Cellar One Topaque.

Not only will visitors to the winery be able to sample these sweet treats, they are also set to be entertained by Mt Beauty based duo The Royce Twins.

Established in 1859, Morris Wines has housed five generations of family winemakers and its many varieties continually win praise from critics and wine buffs alike.

Morris Wines is located at 154 Mia Mia Road, Rutherglen and can be contacted on (02) 60267303.
