Spe­cial piece to be auc­tioned off at Art Af­ter Dark

The Port Hed­land Court­house Gallery’s Art Af­ter Dark re­turns to­mor­row night with artist Melissa North.

Guests are in­vited to the free event which will see North com­plete an aerial paint­ing ty­ing in with the theme of the gallery’s new­est main ex­hi­bi­tion, Flight: Abo­rig­i­nal Per­spec­tives from the Sky.

The fin­ished piece will be auc­tioned off to guests at the end of the night.

North is a Port Hed­land-based artist whose vi­brant paint­ings cap­ture the beauty of the Pil­bara land­scape.

Guests can also en­joy wine, cheese, the gallery space and an af­ter dark view­ing of the A Year in the Mak­ing and Flight: Abo­rig­i­nal Per­spec­tives from the Sky ex­hi­bi­tions.

The over-18 event is open to any­one and ev­ery­one no mat­ter what their in­ter­est in art is — it is a fun and cre­ative night out for all.

The Court­house Gallery’s Art Af­ter Dark is an an­nual event that al­lows com­mu­nity mem­bers to be a part of the gallery fam­ily.
