West End finale

North West Telegraph - - Lifestyle - Robert Dougherty

The food, crafts and a newly opened bar area were all the rage at Port Hedland’s final West End Markets of 2018.

Not many Hedland residents could resist the markets’ popular food court showcasing deli-style product makers, producers, hobby farmers and local vendors in the carpark off Wedge Street in Port Hedland. The creative talent of the North West was well and truly on display with a diverse range of handmade crafts and designs, and artworks by local artisans and Aboriginal art centres.

Attendees were also swept up in the opportunity to view this year’s Hedland Art Awards entrants at the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery.

The crowd spilled over into the new bar area that had comfy couches and high tables between the gallery and Hedland’s new WEB Business Hub.
