The MG8000 isn’t quite as prone to TTL un­der­ex­po­sure as the Di866 Mk II, giv­ing slightly brighter re­sults. Nissin in­cludes a ‘My TTL’ mode in both flash­guns, so you can ap­ply a per­ma­nent flash ex­po­sure bias to com­pen­sate for any un­der­ex­po­sure, but dur­ing our tests the MG8000 also proved a lit­tle in­con­sis­tent in TTL ex­po­sures from one shot to the next, adding to the prob­lem.
