Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD

New AF motor for the established FX superzoom

Tamron has updated its fullframe 28-300mm lens, adding a Piezo Drive ultrasonic autofocus motor to the previous design, which used a slower, noisier motor. This has also enabled the firm to make the lens fractionally smaller and lighter.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Could turn the lens from an also-ran into a serious competitor.
