Ta ke pict ures in bad weather !
ush yourself to shoot in all conditions, but don’t fall into the trap of shooting the same picture whatever the weather. On cloudy days, ignore sweeping landscapes or cityscapes and shoot more close-ups and portraits. If the weather is dramatically bad then make it the subject. People’s interactions with bad weather can make for evocative shots. Avoid exposing your Nikon to rain if possible. I always have an Optech disposable rainsleeve in my bag, but will pack a Kata Raincover if I expect extreme weather.
