The pro’s Kill er Kit #01 plant pot lens hood

Chris says… I had a small accident with my Nikon lens hood! I’m waiting for a replacement part at the moment, but I really needed a temporary stand-in for this trip so I decided to have a go at fashioning a lens hood from a black plant pot. You can pick them up for a pound/dollar at your local garden centre. I simply cut the bottom off and slotted it on the end of the lens, and it works really well at reducing lens flare.
