Don’t jack in the day job ex­pect­ing to spend seven days a week shoot­ing beau­ti­ful land­scapes: the re­al­ity of pro­fes­sional pho­tog­ra­phy is much less glam­orous. “The first thing to ac­cept is that pho­tog­ra­phy is not the main work of a pro pho­tog­ra­pher,” says San­dra Bar­tocha. “There is a lot of edit­ing, emails and other ad­min­is­tra­tion work in­volved. One has to be pro­fes­sional deal­ing with cus­tomers on a daily ba­sis.”
