Michael Free­man is one of the world’s most pub­lished pho­tog­ra­phers with more than 100 books to his name.

Since 1978 he has pho­tographed more than 40 sto­ries for Smith­so­nian, the pres­ti­gious mag­a­zine of the Smith­so­nian In­sti­tu­tion in Wash­ing­ton DC.

In 1990 he was awarded the Prix Louis Philippe Clerc in 1990 from the Musée Français de la Photographie, France.

A renowned pho­tog­ra­phy teacher, Michael also writes and il­lus­trates pho­tog­ra­phy cour­ses for the Open Col­lege of the Arts, in the UK. Find out more at www.oca-uk.com
