Compared with some of the latest competitors, levels of sharpness aren’t quite as good at the wide-angle end of the zoom range, while barrel distortion is also slightly more pronounced. Meanwhile, at the longest zoom setting, sharpness is a bit disappointing towards the edges and corners of the frame and fringing is on the high side.
