A step up from the standard options without a pro price tag

Tokina’s 70-200mm f/4 is designed to be a step up from consumer telephoto zooms and a more affordable alternative to professional zoom lenses. The fixed f/4 maximum aperture will make it handy in low light, and Tokina’s Vibration Control Module image stabilisation system will help keep images sharp. The ‘S’ in the name denotes the use of a high-speed ultrasonic AF motor. The lens is designed for full-frame cameras, but you can also use it on APS-C models, where it becomes the equivalent of a 105-300mm f/4 lens.
