From sports to sa­faris, Lou’s ca­reer is var­ied – but ex­cel­lence is a con­stant

Lou Coet­zer is a South African-based sa­fari pho­tog­ra­pher who be­gan his ca­reer as a free­lance sports pho­tog­ra­pher. He also ex­cels at stu­dio pho­tog­ra­phy.

Through his company, CNP Sa­faris (www.cnpsa­, Lou leads pho­to­graphic sa­faris to Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Kenya, as well as to Alaska.

He de­vel­oped the world’s first 360-de­gree re­volv­ing pho­tog­ra­phy chair mounted on boats, which his clients use on river sa­faris.

In 2014, for the 50th Wildlife Pho­tog­ra­pher of the Year awards, Lou con­ducted a se­ries of wildlife pho­tog­ra­phy mas­ter­classes at the Nat­u­ral His­tory Mu­seum, London.
