DX -FORMAT SLR > www.nikon.com Since the D300s was discontinued, rumours have been rife about a direct replacement. The D7100 is marketed as Nikon’s flagship DX D-SLR, but some still feel it’s a step down in terms of build and handling. If a D400 is introduced, it’ll need to provide a level of control far beyond that of the D7100, along with faster focusing, quicker burst shooting and a longer battery life. However, considering that Nikon’s D-SLR line-up is more crowded than ever, don’t hold your breath for a D400.
