Open ’er up!

Jayne says… Sarah uses aper­turepri­or­ity (A) mode, which is my pref­er­ence too, and she rightly sets a small aper­ture of about f/16 for land­scapes, but when there’s lots of sea spray around, I tend to open up to f/10 or f/11; at f/16 or f/22, depth of field is so good that any marks on a fil­ter or lens are ap­par­ent in the shot.
