Repeating patterns and abstract reflections don’t just make for great images – you can also use them to create wallpaper. Specialist printing firms such as WhiteWall.com can print onto acrylic in sizes large enough to cover a whole wall, giving you the opportunity to create a mural or your very own feature wall. Try shooting an object with a macro lens, such as a leaf on a plain surface, and using that to repeat across a far larger canvas. Or you can try shooting wider nature scenes, to bring the outdoors indoors. Alternatively, abstract reflections can also make an interesting backdrop when blown up, giving you the option to manipulate the colours and textures within the image to complement the room. You could even feature yourself or a loved one in the image to personalise it.
