SUMMER IN LA DAK H

So what does an accomplished Alpine photographer shoot when the snow has thawed? The answer is far from the slopes…

What would you say has been your greatest moment as a photographer?

It’s not really in the direction of action sports, but I went to Ladakh last summer, to the Kalachakra Festival. You have all the Tibetan Buddhists coming to that place for one week to hear the teachings of the Dalai Lama. That was amazing to shoot because the energy is incredible. I went there with my wife and son, who’s five years old, so it was also very special because it was a family trip. Were you able to publish any of the pictures?

Yes, I had an exhibition in Lausanne for three weeks. That’s my goal, to do more gallery work.
