Sirui K-20x

High-quality ball head that can take a serious load

We’re just starting to see what Sirui’s product range has to offer, and this mid-range ball head demonstrates that this is a company that is taking the design and quality of its products seriously. The K-20x has a maximum load of 25kg (enough to hold a Nikon D750 with 70-200mm f/2.8 easily), and the simple design has no outwardly fussy switches or dials that overcomplicate its use out in the field. The performance is solid, with the knob on the side enabling the adjustment of the angle and position of the head. Friction can then be adjusted with a small dial on the end of the knob. The base plate is of the Arca-Swiss type, giving good compatibility with other accessories, and has two built-in spirit levels to ensure easy levelling. A quickrelease button makes removing the camera easy once the plate is released. The base also has 360-degree markings for aiding panoramic shoots.
