OUR PRO’S verdict

Paulo was a pleasure to work with during our day together, blending the skills he already owned with my suggestions to produce some excellent work. This image of the light reflecting off the pavement along the Southbank demonstrates his eye for composition, simplicity, timing and exposure. The London Eye tells us where we are, but only after we’ve been magnetically drawn to the figure in the centre of the walkway. The path leads us into the frame, while the curve of the steps beyond the man take us round to the top-left corner to find out where we are. It is very nicely done.
