OUR APPRENT ICE says …

Focusing on the ball instead of the players helped me to achieve a completely different style of framing. The way the players’ attention is fully focused on the ball is my favourite part of this photograph, and the focus-tracking techniques Mark showed me meant I could keep the ball sharp even though there were plenty of obstructions that would have normally flummoxed the autofocus.
