Pro’s Killer kit #03 led light
Use an LED light when you’re working in low-light conditions. They are small and portable, but surprisingly powerful. I use a Manfrotto Maxima-84 (£250/$290) mainly as a fill light, but in low-light situations it can become my main source of illumination. The light is calibrated for daylight (5600°K), but I normally use a warming CTO (Colour Temperature Orange) gel in front of the light to create a warmer result. In this situation, we were working with the available light from a campfire, but the orange filter on the LED allowed us to effectively blend the artificial light in so that the results looked more natural.
