For this shot of a small waterfall with Garbh Bheinn in the background, Chris encouraged me to consider both horizontal and vertical compositions and to look for lines that would lead the eye through the frame. The challenge was getting the timing right, and adjusting the exposure for the fast-changing light; one minute the rain was lashing down, the next the ridge was bathed in sunlight. In the end a shutter speed of 0.3 sec at f/16 and ISO100 resulted in a perfect exposure, and was just slow enough to blur the moving water. I really like the way the triangular shape of the stream is echoed by the shape of the mountain.
