Fields of rapeseed are one of the sights of summer. We’d normally advise against putting a feature like this lone tree smack-bang in the centre of the frame, but Phillip Minnis has waited for the clouds to be directly above it to introduce a sense of verticality, while the shadow semi-mirrors the green hill to the right, making things more symmetrical.
